How changes stay safe
Gridly can change your shop, so it is built to make mistakes hard and fixing them easy.
1. Preview first
When you ask for a change, Gridly shows exactly what would change and changes nothing. You see each product with its old and new value, and a clear message that nothing has happened yet.
2. You approve
Only after you clearly say yes does Gridly apply the change. A preview is good for 15 minutes and works once.
3. Every change is numbered and can be undone
Each change gets a number and is logged with the old and new values. Say “undo change 12”, check the preview of what will be restored, and approve. If you edited something yourself afterwards, Gridly leaves your newer edit alone and tells you.
4. If something changed in the meantime
If a product was edited between your preview and your approval, Gridly applies nothing and asks you to preview again. This also protects scheduled changes.
5. Scheduled changes
You approve the preview now and choose a time, such as Monday at 9am. At that time Gridly applies it only if nothing changed in the meantime, then emails you the result. You can list and cancel scheduled changes any time.
What Gridly never does
- No refunds or payments. Use WooCommerce's refund button.
- Never shows your secret keys to you, to the AI or in logs.
- No “change everything” commands. A bulk change needs a filter such as a name, category or tag, and is limited to 500 products at a time.
- No marketing emails to your customers. Gridly only emails you.
- Doesn't keep your orders or customers. It reads them live when you ask.
Your plan's limits
The Free plan lets you ask questions about the last 30 days and update order status and notes (5 per month). Paid plans add bulk changes, coupons, text updates and full history. See plans.
Removing access
In Gridly, open your stores and click Disconnect. Then, for full safety, delete the Gridly key in WordPress under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
